Sunday Wakeup Call Whenever
Nightly Shut down Whenever the body flops.

My times usually run into each other and overlap quite a bit, but for the most part a schedule can apply to me. I have the reputation for being two or three minutes late for things I do every day and on some occasions up to fifteen minutes late when a function jumps up and slaps me in the face. I'm well known for being unprepared for special events and functions.

Still, for the most part I do keep to my schedule rather well. There are certain events that I never miss. Saturdays at 8pm you can always find me in the same place, no matter what is going on in the world around me.

Weekdays I wake up, shower, eat, hop into my car and by this point, I'm already running late. I arrive at work only two or three minutes off schedule, go inside and work on my creative side until snack time. After snack, I go back downstairs to the classroom where we either finish the projects for the day or prepare for our time outside. After a romp in the great outdoors I head up to lunch where I eat a lunch with the threes and then grab a bit of extra food with the fours before cleaning the tables and heading downstairs again.

I take my lunch hour after I give my coworkers their fifteen minute breaks. I'm usually at home for this hour and I usually grab a bite to eat while I check my email and update my computer project of the day. Then I hop back into the car and disappear to work again.

When I get back most, if not all of the children are asleep for the last hour of nap. I wake them up, put away the mats and then tie everyone's shoes before heading upstairs to the lunch room. We eat a quick afternoon snack and then prepare for our last romp in the great outdoors.

By the time we go inside for thirty minutes of Children's Public Television almost everyone has gone home. It isn't long after I get settled before I end up on my way home myself.

Once I'm home for the night I do a bit of cleaning or working before settling down in front of the television after dinner at 7pm. From there my schedule varies, but I'm usually in bed by around 12 that night.

Weekends are another matter all together.

Saturday mornings I wake up depending on the amount of work that I have to do. Some mornings it's easier for me to sleep in than others and those late mornings are highly appreciated. My day runs the way I decide to make it run until 8pm when everything in the world stops.

Saturday nights from 8pm to 11pm I watch Star Trek's The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and then Voyager, rerun or not.

After Star Trek I wander off into my bedroom, usually to get online and talk about the most recent episode with my friends. I work at the computer until something else comes up. Sometimes I take this time to go out to a Raleigh club or a movie with a friend.

Sunday mornings at 10:30 or 11 I actually get out of bed. I'm usually awake by 8am, but try to make myself sleep to make up for lost time in the night. After that the day is mine to rearrange until 9pm when I do my laundry to the X-Files. I try to run my errands around lunch time on Sundays, but don't usually get them all done. I tend to be online more often on Sundays as well and any projects I've been thinking of all week begin to take shape.

Most of my life follows a more strict schedule than the one you see here. My laundry time on Sunday nights is just an example of how I try to keep myself to a fairly strict schedule. This isn't to say that I'm not multitasking all the way through it. I'm always finding something else to do while I work away on whatever task I've set for the hour. It usually means I end up doing laundry, an art project, a puzzle and a web search all at once.

And now that I have a housemate, things have become more spontanious than I like. Don't get me wrong, a good sudden change of plan is always welcome in my life, but now I've been getting less done at the computer or at any of my other hobbies and more time just bumbling around the house, thinking up everything I need to do. It all comes from still keeping my personal life so closed off in the one or two parts of my house that I don't spend as much time in. Over all it means more projects are in the works.

I explain myself in many different pieces in this section of my web page. Feel free to explore the rest. If this one gave more questions than answers, feel free to mail them to me.
